New York / Hong Kong – January 15, 2013 – CBX, a leading provider of extended product lifecycle management, global sourcing and supplier collaboration systems for the retail industry, today announced that Eric Linxwiler has joined CBX as Vice President of Business Development for the Americas, effective January 2013.
In his new capacity, Linxwiler will drive business growth for CORE’s Extended PLM platform and Supply Chain Collaboration solutions. He will be responsible for helping retailers and brand manufacturers in the region understand and realize the value of implementing solutions which can transform their business by streamlining their supply chains and increasing profits.Eric Linxwiler has over 20 years of experience in business development positions within enterprise software and cloud based service companies with a specialty in Supply Chain optimization and work flow management. Most recently, he has focused on supply chain communications between tier one retailers, manufacturers, distributors and their trading partners. Eric typically works directly with senior management teams responsible for merchandising, supply chain logistics, operations, sales, marketing, e-Commerce, procurement, compliance, finance and IT.
Prior to joining CBX, Eric managed the Sales and Marketing operations for Direct EDI, Inc. in San Diego, California, where he helped grow the company from an early stage start-up to a multi-million dollar organization that was acquired by SPS Commerce in 2011. Eric stayed on after the acquisition to manage key account acquisitions for SPS Commerce in the Western U.S.
